• CPRSX

CPRSX is a private Australian organisation committed to partnering with indigenous communities throughout the Philippines to implement commercially-inspired environmentally-sustainable processes, technologies and systems in an effort to improve the socio-economic wellbeing of those communities. The CPRSX Climate Change Action PlanTM identifies niche carbon emissions and climate change market adaptation segments which rely on proven technology and socioeconomic strategies to create revenue streams in the Philippines, where they otherwise did not exist. The foundations for advancing the CPRSX Climate Change Action PlanTM centre upon a mutual understanding, mutual cooperation and the ease of introducing modern climate change adaptation semantics in conjunction with the indigenous community’s customary beliefs. The overall intention is achieving all 17 Sustainable Development Goals in each community in which we work.

  • Supply Change

Supply Change, launched in 2015 by Forest Trends’ Ecosystem Marketplace in collaboration with CDP and WWF, provides a free-to-use transformational resource (www.supply-change.org) for businesses, investors, governments, and  civil society organizations. Through this website, Supply Change provides near real-time information on the actions companies are reporting against their commitments to manage deforestation in their supply chains, focusing on the big drivers of deforestation stemming from commercial agriculture: palm oil, timber and pulp, soy, and beef.  Supply Change tracks and identifies the commitments that count, filling a crucial data gap in market information. In addition, Supply Change produces market insights and reports, articles, webinars and events, such as the annual report that is being launched at this year’s Global Landscapes Forum.

In this report, which examines the Supply Change dataset as of March 31, 2016, we take the next step to determine the status of and trends in corporate commitments and publicly reported progress towards those commitments.

  • ZSL’s Sustainable Palm Oil Transparency Toolkit (SPOTT) - Zoological Society of London (ZSL)

The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) presents the Sustainable Palm Oil Transparency Toolkit (SPOTT), an online platform providing practical tools and information for stakeholders in the palm oil supply chain. SPOTT’s scorecard assesses 50 of the world’s largest palm oil producers – representing half of all land under cultivation – against more than 50 indicators of commitment to best practice for sustainable production. Financiers can use SPOTT assessments and the interactive map of concessions to inform their Environmental and Social Governance processes, engage with companies, and scrutinise whether commitments are being implemented on the ground. ZSL is expanding SPOTT to cover other high biodiversity impact commodities, such as pulpwood and timber, to increase transparency and accountability in those sectors.
