Minister Greg Hunt

Minister for the Environment, Australia

The Hon. Greg Hunt is Minister for the Environment of Australia. Previously he served as a senior adviser to then Minister for Foreign Affairs Alexander Downer. After spending time as Chief Australian Electoral Observer in Cambodia, he worked almost three years with McKinsey and Co, during which he he was seconded to the World Economic Forum as Director of Strategy. Minister Hunt was elected the Member of Parliament for Flinders, Victoria, in 2001 and was appointed Australia’s Environment Minister after the 2013 Federal election. He graduated from Melbourne University with First Class Honours in Law and subsequently won a Fulbright scholarship to complete a Masters in International Relations at Yale University.
