Aloysius M. Kamperewera is the Director of the Department of Environmental Affairs of Malawi’s Ministry of Natural Resources, Energy and Environment. He has wide experience in design and implementation of environment and climate change programs including environmental impact assessments, risk assessments and management, vulnerability assessments and disaster risk reduction, biodiversity conservation and protection. He is the national focal point and liaison officer involving external and internal relationships with key stakeholders, donors and development partners. He received his PhD in Environment and Natural Resource Sciences obtained from Washington State University, USA.
